Nancy Gay Moerbe

Nancy Gay Moerbe, age 53, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Kingsville after a sudden illness. She was born May 5, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Wilbur Moerbe and Frances Bauman Moerbe. Nancy was a graduate of Mary Carroll High School, Corpus Christi. She graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with a B.S. degree. She also obtained a degree in drafting and computer technology at Del Mar College. She was presently employed by the Bishop C.I.S.D. as a District Technology Director. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bishop. Nancy was a faithful daughter in caring for her parents in their later years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents. Nancy is survived by one brother, Garry Moerbe (Kathy) of Bishop; niece, Kassandra Moerbe of Houston, Texas; nephew, Chris Moerbe of Bishop; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 801 East Main Street, Bishop, Texas with Rev. Matthew T. Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow at the Concordia Cemetery.
