Nancy Ann Caldwell went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Onzie Carter and Dora Ellen Busic Carter. Mrs. Caldwell was a CNA and worked for many years at the Holston Manor. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. “Whitey” Caldwell on October 8, 1972 who was a well-known local wrestler; one great grandson, Jordan O’rion Necessary; one great granddaughter, Margaret Ann Caldwell; three sisters, Mary Alice McDavid, Lula Long and Moni Carter; and four brothers, Clyde Carter, H.C. Carter, Cecil Carter and Robert Carter. Survivors include one son, Jeff Caldwell, of Fall Branch, TN; two daughters, Karen Fields and husband Verlin, of Duffield, VA and Mickie Ouellette and husband Larry, of Kingsport, TN; eight grandchildren, Matthew A. Caldwell, Jeffrey Chase Caldwell, Nicholas K. Caldwell, Michelle Thacker and husband Wayne, Nikki Summers and husband Jason, Shawn Fields, Brandon Rowland and wife Buffy and Amanda Potter and husband James; six great grandchildren, Hayden Chase Caldwell, Makayla Thacker, Zachary Thacker, Jacoby Summers, Devon Rowland, and Dustin Necessary; daughter from another mother, Violet Carter; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Nancy Ann Caldwell will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of David of East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bright, Chase Caldwell, Nicholas Caldwell, Larry Ouellette, Dustin Necessary and Devon Rowland.
