Matthew Michael Mowdy

Matthew was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Deborah Stirsman. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Brittany Michelle Mowdy, and his two children, Rustin Michael Mowdy and Naomi Michelle Mowdy. 

Other survivors include his mother, Lorrie Rainwater (Brad) and his father Tracy Mowdy (Brandy) along with two sisters, Megan Salyer (Colton) and Madison Mowdy and a brother Todd Rainwater, several grandparents, a great grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins to treasure the time they were given with him. 

Matthew had a heart of gold and was loved by all who knew him. He loved his family with his whole heart and was always there for them. 

His greatest joy in life was taking care of his children with his greatest accomplishment being a wonderful husband and father. 

Matthew loved spending time with his family, giving to others, watching TV, sports, world events, comics, Marvel, DC, and drinking Mello Yello. 

Mowdy family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday, December 30 at East Lawn Funeral Home, with a service directly following. Graveside will be Saturday, December 31 at 11am at East Lawn.
