Lavada Mae Beverly, 85, entered into the loving arms of Jesus during the morning hours of Thursday (January 9, 2020). Lavada was born on December 27, 1934 in Blountville, TN to the late William Buck & Marcella Marie (Goodman) Stine.
Lavada was a farmer who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Lavada was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Lavada was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Hubert Ray Beverly, Sr; son, Hubert Ray Beverly, Jr.; and brothers, Gary Stine and Kyle Stine.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Larry Evans Beverly and James David Beverly; three daughters, Kimberly Hutchins & husband Jeff, Carolyn Brown, and Melaney Williams; brother, Wayne Stine; two sisters, Wanda Harper and Lois Fauver; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday (January 13, 2020) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn Funeral home with Pastor Richard Kelly officiating.
Lavada will be laid to rest with her beloved husband on Monday (January 13, 2020) at 3 p.m. at Gunnings Cemetery in Blountville, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
