He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother when he was 5 years old. He also was preceded by his step-mom, Buna Scott, as well as the mother of his children, Betty Jo, sister Imogene Cole, brother Tommy Scott, young brother Cay Bart Scott, Jr. and young son Michael Scott.
Kenneth served our country in the US Navy aboard the USS Mississippi, as well as the USS Wisconsin during the Korean conflict. He worked for many years as a truck driver with Mason Dixon, which he retired from. He was known as "#1 Kingfish" on the CB radio. He loved to camp with his family and friends and spent many years camping with the Holiday Rambler Club.
He is survived by his children, Jeffery (Becky) Scott and Ann Fleenor, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Hudson and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service Thursday July 21, 2022 at 11 am at Mt. Home National Cemetery. Rev. Eddie McAmis will officiate along with military honors by American Legion Post #3 & Post #265.
