I remember her painting my toenails green for me and her dad got the flashlight out and was shining it on us. When we took a selfie that night together, we both stuck out our tongues at the same time and started laughing because neither one of us knew the other one was going to that. But first and foremost what I will always remember about her is how much she loved her dad. She was a daddy's girl❤️❤️

I wish I had a premonition, one year ago today. I wouldn’t have let you leave me… I would have made you stay. I would have wrapped my arms around you and told you how you mean to me. 

Although, you are no longer here with me, you left me with so many wonderful memories, your smiling face filled with so much fun and enthusiasm, your love of animals and your passion for helping people in your job. 


I can still see and hear coming out your backdoor with Maggie dragging you behind, just to see me on back porch.  

Although, I can’t see you…you will always be by side. I love and miss you every single day Jenbug. 





Dear Harris family,
I worked with Jenny at Highlands Community Services. Jenny is going to be so missed. She loved her clients, had an intuitive understanding that is rare, and was a blessing to me as we worked together. My heart is broken. I loved seeing the photos you shared as I have only known her through work. One of the most beautiful souls I have known. Prayers as you go through this difficult time. 

Jenbug, this is how I will remember you.  I love you and miss you so much my little girl from next door.

I knew Jenny at the Ridge and we lived close by each other and I would often run into her often.  We shared great stories and always laughed together.  She was one of the sweetest people and I will miss her dearly. God bless the family in this time of loss. Love you Jenn. 

I met Jenny a while after her department moved into our building. We actually started conversing over a cat that was hanging out in the back of the building!! 
     We were brought together by this beautiful little feline and Jenny ended up taking her home and finding her a home❤️ 
      She was a true soldier for animals for sure! She would share pics w me of the baby that she homed and her own as well !! 
     I didn’t know her for long but I knew she was a good human being.. liked to kid around and share her fur babies stories ❤️
I will miss her, as many will, without saying🙁

Dear Harris Family,
I wa shocked and terribly saddened when I saw Jenny’s death notice yesterday. In my 38 year teaching career I taught many wonderful students who were also exemplary human beings. Jennifer was definitely one of those. Not only was she intelligent,  lovely, and polite, she was a person who with her smile and kind heart brightened my day.
I can only imagine your grief. Please know that I grieve with you.

I am beyond devastated to hear this news of Jenny and am so sorry for this true loss. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. 
I will always remember Jenny as my best friend through the years we shared together at Sullivan North HS. We’ve shared so many fond memories, accomplishments, and laughs together from 6th grade through our Senior year that I will always cherish forever. We were both always involved in the same clubs, classes, volleyball, softball, Girl’s State, etc...so we were always together pushing each other to succeed. After graduation, life caused us to slowly drift apart, but she and her family will always hold a special place in my heart!

I met Jenny at work in 2009. I admired how hard she worked for the people she served. She had a magnetic personality and spirit. We became friends quickly. Jenny gave the best hugs and was there anytime she was needed. We went to a few concerts together and had a girls' night during the work week to unwind and watch TV.  Our friendship continued as she went to another job. She was at our wedding and thoughout my pregnancy. No matter how much time passed, we picked right up. Jenny was certainly a light in this world. The impact she made in her personal and professional life will continue to shine. To say she will be missed is an understatement. 

Sincere condolences to Angela and Jonathan, Kathy and Richard.  I pray the Lord helps you all get through this terrible loss. 

I'm beyond saddened to hear about Jenny passing.  We used to be inseparable then after changing jobs we drifted apart over the past couple years.  I loved her so much!  She once cut a knot out of my hair at work and instead of throwing it away, Jenny decided to hang it on the wall of her cubicle.  She kept it for quite a while!  She was one of the kindest people in the world.  Never met an animal she didn't like.  The world is going to be so much emptier without you!  I will never forget you my dear friend!!!  I love you immensely!
