James, “Jimmy” Cecil Richards, 87, of Laurel Bloomery, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 after several years of declining health due to Parkinson’s. He was born March 30, 1933 to the late Louise and James Richards. Jimmy served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked until retirement as a crane operator for Tennessee Eastman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Lady and James Richards.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Nancy Richards; three sons, Phil Richards, Jeff Richards and wife Sheila, and Tim Richards and wife Debbie; one grandson; five granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 3:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park’s Chapel of Memories, officiated by Pastor Michael Teague.
