Floyd Eugene Weddle, 70, entered into the loving arms of Jesus during the afternoon hours of Friday (September 11, 2020). Floyd was born on October 23, 1949 in Kingsport, TN to the late Hobert Eugene & Clara (Fields) Weddle.
Floyd was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed UT sports, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family and friends. Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Edith Joe Weddle; daughter, Ashley Weddle Templeton & husband Josh; step-daughter, Tracey Giles; two step-sons, Kenneth and Brian Sargent; grandson, Rylan Templeton; step-granddaughter, Kayla Sargent; special friends, Allen Peters, Danny Price, and Larry Donihe; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday (September 17, 2020) at East Lawn Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m.
Floyd will be laid to rest on Friday (September 18, 2020) at 3 p.m. in the Garden of the Mausoleum at East Lawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Allen Peters officiating.
