Dennis Bunn

Dennis Decatur Bunn, age 71 of Kingsport, entered into rest on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee. Mr. Bunn was a Charleston, West Virginia native, and the son of the late Milton DeWitt and Lillian G. Bunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Lois Bunn in 2011, son-in-law, Joe Graham, two sisters and one brother.

Mr. Bunn proudly served his country in the United States Army, in which he retired after receiving numerous decorations, medals, badges and citations.

Survivors include: a son, Robert Bunn and his wife Dorothy of Kingsport, one daughter, Tabatha Graham of Kingsport, four grandchildren, Kelsey Bunn, Philip Bunn, Ethan Graham and Alex Graham.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service following at 3:00 pm with Minister Kerry Doyal officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wellmont Hospice, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN, 37620.
