Curtis Sauls, age 91, entered into rest March 26, 2012 at his residence. Born in Jonesborough, Tennessee and lived the past forty plus years in Gray. He retired after twenty eight years of service at the Glass Plant in Kingsport. Curtis loved his family, the outdoors, working in his garden, farming, and his country. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty plus years, Myrtle Sauls; parents, John and Blanche Phillips Sauls; and two sisters, May Ball, Callie Craine; two brothers, John Sauls, Jr. and Dean Sauls. Curtis is survived by one brother, Edward Sauls and his wife Ruby of Telford, TN.; and several nieces and nephews; his devoted companion, Daisy the dog; and loving caregiver, Teresa Perry. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
