Wanda Jean Jenkins

Wanda Jean Jenkins was born November 7, 1931. She was preceded in death by father, George Whitfield Gargus Sr., mother, Laura Ann Caldwell, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, and son John Allen Gresham III. Survivors include brother, George W Gargus Jr and wife Betty, of Nampa, ID, son Joseph Gresham and wife Kristi of Murray, KY, daughter Sandra Romer and husband Donald of Killeen, grandchildren Jo Anna Cameron, Heather Bounds, John Gresham IV, Jena Thacker, and Julie McCuiston, and great grandchildren JJ Kozlowski, Justin Bounds, Briana Bounds, Kendra Pugh, Alex Pugh, Lydia Cameron, Rebekah Thacker, Robert Owen Cameron, Jobi Ann Johnson, and Sarah Thacker. Mrs. Jenkins was a Kentucky native who called Texas home for many years. She was active in her church community and enjoyed long-time company of care-giver Sigrun “Ziggy” Gadis. Mrs. Jenkins was a philanthropic soul, spending her lifetime dedicated in the service of others thru Christ. In lieu of flowers and cards, Mrs. Jenkins requests that you provide a coat or a pair of shoes to child in need. Celebration of Mrs. Jenkins life will occur at a later date and time in Graves County, Kentucky.
