Teresa Lynn Lewis

Teresa was born December 8, 1965 to Paul Eugene and Mary Ellen Lewis and went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2012.

She graduated from Ellison High School in 1984, received a Bachelor degree in Social Work from Tarleton State University in May of 2003. She received a Masters Degree of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas in May 2004. She went to Vogue Beauty College and was a hairstylist from 1984-1995 and as an independent stylist with Creative Cuts from 1995-1999. Teresa work as an investigator for CPS from 2004-2006 and investigator supervisor from 2006-2008 She worked for MHMR as a Mobile Crisis Outreach Counselor from 2009-2011, for DADS as a Social Work Surveyor from 2011-2012 and was a volunteer with numerous organizations.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lewis.

She is survived by son, Brian S. Lewis; father, Paul Lewis; sister, Sherry Milam her husband Ron and their children Cody and Aidan, and two dogs Jack and Katie.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or 2nd Chance Animal Shelter.

The family will receive visitors from 11-12:30am Monday November 12, 2012 at the funeral home.
