Beautiful Sonia today marks a year you went to heaven… how I miss your talks about what we were going to do for the holidays with our  families.

Whenever I watch a Christmas movie, I will remember all the times we watched them together, laughing and crying. Thank you for opening your home to me when I needed you most. Great pain in my heart. Sadness, a sense of loss and disbelief. I am comforted however by the lifetime of memories that I will always be able to fall back on as I was blessed to have had such a beautiful person in my life and privileged to have been able to share such wonderful memories with my sister. I will miss you always.

Although my heart aches and I feel extreme pain at knowing you are no longer here with us, I am so very fortunate to have been able to share in the life of such a wonderful person and more importantly such a beautiful sister. I will keep you close to me in thoughts and prayers for the rest of my days 

        My dear Sonia, your beautiful smile, love of family, and zest for life was evident to all that knew you.
      Some of my fondest memories are the times when we prayed for your and Ciso's beautiful granddaughter Adriana after her birth, and during your dear 'son-in-love', Andy's affliction with Covid-19.  We had faith and believed that God was not finished with them yet, and He wasn't. And they are here today--as a part of your legacy of faith.  
        I remember how we would exchange souvenirs after our vacations, and how we would exchange gifts at Christmas. We loved picking out the gifts for the both of you as well as receiving yours. 
        Sonia, you were such a woman of strength as was evident to me in what were to be your final days. During those times you were determined to care for your loving husband and dear mother--even preparing a meal for me and Don  despite my protests, and we were so appreciative. We are still talking about it.   We have been so blessed to have you and Ciso as neighbors for the past 18 years, and  will forever treasure your friendship.
        Ciso, there is a passage of Scripture in the Bible that says, "He that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). Surely God blessed you with a good wife, and the perfect mother for your children.  For that you can be ever grateful. 
        Please know that Don and I love you and your family. Our prayers are with you, and we are here for you. May God comfort you in His own special way during this most difficult time🙏.

I didn't know Sonia very well, but she sure did raise one of the most wonderful people I have ever known!  Her daughter is such a kind soul full of love and genuine care for others, a beautiful reflection of her mother and the legacy her mother leaves behind.

Sonia's days on this earth were too few!  We take comfort knowing they were enough to bless those she touched and leave lasting impressions on her family to carry forward.

God bless this lovely family and take comfort Sonia has no more pain and no more sorrow!

When times got tough, you were always my first call. When something exciting happened in my life, you were my first call. You were always there for me. Your wisdom and advice was like no other. You helped me in so many ways. I don’t know how I would have made it through a lot of obstacles without you. I love you beyond words and I know you are watching over us until we meet again.

Sweet Sonia, it is so hard to believe you have left this world.  You were one of the nicest, smartest and funniest people I know.  I will always remember the memories of our work trips to Puerto Rico and hold them close to my heart along with all the other fun times in and out of work.  Your smile was contagious and always brightened a room. 
May Father God embrace your beautiful family and give them the strength, peace and love as they say goodbye for now.🙏♥️🙏

Thank you for being the best mom a daughter could ask for. You always made the holidays incredible. I will think of you and all the wonderful times we had together. All the memories of our family vacations from childhood through adulthood will be cherished. My favorite memories of you is your unconditional love and support you showed me despite all my flaws. No matter the situation you always had my back and helped me become the person I am today: hardworking, independent, honest, giving, loving, and caring. Thank you for being the best mother I could ask for. You always built me up to give me the confidence to reach my goals. Without you I would not have become the strong, independent woman I am. Believe me when I say I always felt your support even when I lived hundreds of miles away. You were always there and I could not ask for more.
