Pedro Leon Guerrero San Nicolas

Pedro L.G. San Nicolas passed away at the age of 81 on August 28, 2024 surrounded by his beloved family. Pete is survived by his wife, Sylvia Duenas San Nicolas of Killeen, Texas, and his children — Kenneth (Laura) San Nicolas of Gig Harbor, Washington, Glenn San Nicolas of Killeen, Kristine (Roger) Trevino of Killeen and Kathryn (Kyle) Sawyer of Spring, Texas, and eight grandchildren: Kenny, Kelsey, Layla and Lucas San Nicolas, Marquis Cortez, and Maddox, Myles, and Emmy Sawyer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Rosario and Ana Leon Guerrero San Nicolas, and all five sisters (Rosario Turner, Priscilla Zamora, Annie San Nicolas, Carmen Quichocho, Rosita Sablan)

Pete was a retired U.S. Army Veteran of 20 years, serving tours in both Vietnam and Korea. After retiring from the U.S. Army he went on to work for the Killeen Independent School District for another 30+ years. When he wasn’t working, you could find him barbecuing and enjoying time with his family, playing and fishing with his grandkids, or just enjoying a quiet afternoon watching TV with Mom. He will be remembered for his compassion, humility, easy-going attitude, and never ending sense of humor— literally a jokester up until his last breath. He will be dearly missed and FOREVER loved!
