Nellie Fay Hendricks

Services for Nellie Fay Cosper Ellis Hendricks, 79, of Harker Heights will be Saturday May 28, 2011 at 12 Noon at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport, Texas. She died Thursday May 19, 2011 in Temple.

Nellie was born May 13, 1932 in Jerrell, Texas to J.D. Everett Cosper and Ella Lorene Warrick Cosper. She had lived in the central Texas are all her life and was the owner and operator of Ellis Rentals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include one son, Stevie Don Ellis of Nolanville; two daughters, Janice Marie Whitley of Salado and Rhonda Fay Ellis of Harker Heights; a brother, Jay Cosper and his wife Sissy of Killeen; a sister, Sherry Cosper of Nolanville; seven grandchildren, Carrie Ellis, Marita Ellis, Renee’ Ellis, Krystal Ellis, Stevie Leon Sheldon, Laurie Ann Pitts, and Steven Ray Whitley; seventeen great-grandchildren, Carletta Dickens, Carl Dickens III, Destiny Seville Dickens, Carl Dickens IV, Diamond Nicole Dickens, Karina Dickens, Donte’ Ellis Thomas, She-anne Clayton, Jamie Clayton Jr., Jamel Dajaun Singleton Jr., Christopher Javon Singleton, Azaria Francesca Singleton, Rhonda Renee’ Ellis, Issac Everett Ellis, Smantha Pitts and Andrew, Beasley and Jaytrelle Westberry.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Glenda Vasicek Cancer Center at Scott and White, 2401 S. 31st Street, Temple, TX 76508.

The family will receive friends for visitation and refreshments on Thursday May 26, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
