Lucinda (Longoria) Abrams

Lucinda (Longoria) Abrams. 65, was born on September 2, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Lorenzo Longoria and Maria Longoria (Ramirez). She passed away on October 6, 2024, in Killeen, Texas after a long six and a half years hard fought battle with quadriplegia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Funeral services for Mrs. Abrams will be Thursday, October 17 at 1:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Lucinda was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She truly had the utmost love to God, her family members, and friends.

She preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo Longoria, Maria Longoria (Ramirez), and her brother, Leroy Longoria.

Lucinda leaves cherished memories to her husband Jose Abrams; her children and son-in-law: Tina Figueroa, Jose L. Abrams and Cecily and Eric Coughlin; her grandchildren: Maricela Guarnieri, Colt Coughlin and Keagan Martin; her brothers and sisters-in-laws: Lorrie and Christina Longoria, Leonard and Laura Longoria, and Louis and Evelyn Longoria; her brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws: Jaime and Veronica Abrams, Anabelle Jimenez, and Javier Abrams; and beloved nieces and nephews.

The family is extremely grateful for the amazing and empathetic care provided to Lucy by her Caregiver Darlene Hernandez (who has become a permanent part of our family) and the Interim Hospice Health Care Team, specifically RN Tami Burba. Without either, Lucy would not have had such an amazing quality of life for the last 6.5 years. For that we are eternally grateful.
