Christopher Lamont Cardiel grew up in Harker Heights and Killeen, Texas. He earned his GED and attended Job Corp in San Antonio, TX. Chris loved to listen to heavy metal rock music and being with friends and family. Also, he loved to drink beer.
He spent his last 4 years as a resident at Indian Oaks Nursing home after battling many debilitating illnesses. He made many friends at the nursing home. Christopher Lamont Cardiel, 52, died June 9, 2018, in Harker Heights, Texas, after battling an illness.
Chris is predeceased by his loving mother, Toni Carrillo and survived by his 4 sisters Lisa Alvarado of Harker Heights, April Matthews of Killeen, Dora Hankus of Belton, Selena Cardiel of Houston, Maryanne Carrillo of Killeen, TX, David Carrillo of Sulfer Springs, TX, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas, with procession to Killeen City Cemetery on Rancier Avenue, to be laid to rest alongside his beloved mother.
