Carlton O’Neil Wainscott, 85, of Killeen passed away on May 17. Graveside services will be held at the Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery on Friday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m.
Carlton married Peggy Green July 5, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas. They were residents of Abilene for 15 years and Austin for 40 years. Carlton was an educator and worked for the Texas Education Agency. His hobbies included flying and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Green Wainscott.

Arrangements for Mr. Wainscott are under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen.
