Margarita Maya Diaz

Margarita is survived by her daughter; Valerie Freitas (Ricardo) and grandson Joel Dominguez. Margarita also leaves behind her siblings; Rosie Perez, Ignacio Maya Jr., Maria Siqueiros (John), Elva Aguero (Ralph), Yolanda Robles (Roger Sr.), Manuel Maya (Mary), Peter Maya (Pauline).

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Ignacio Maya and Nellie Maya; her brothers Gilbert Esparza, Ruben Maya.

Margarita lived for her daughter and grandson. They were her world. She worked hard to enjoy some of the finer things in life. Margarita had a sarcastic sense of humor that few understood. If you were blessed to be a part of her inner circle you knew she had a heart of gold and would go to the ends of the earth to protect those she loved. During the past year, Margarita would scurry into the living room and say, "It's family time", which meant stealing the remote from her son in law and watching a few shows of Family Feud, or catching up on a latest show, as a family, cuddled on the couch with blankets, her dog Khloe and those she loved.

A visitation for Margarita will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Palm Memorial - Kerman Chapel, 538 South Madera Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM, 538 South Madera Avenue, Kerman, CA 93630. A mass will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 484 Quince St, Mendota, CA 93640. A committal will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, followed by a Reception at her home 935 Rio Frio Cir, Mendota, CA 93640.
