Mr. Joseph Alfred Loon

Mr. Joseph Alfred Loon, a resident of Grassy Narrows, Ontario, passed away on January 8, 2017 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

He was born on May 6, 1939.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by is parents Steven and Mary Loon, wife Mary –(Chi-goom) Loon, sisters Mary Leah, Susan, Matilda, brother Delamer, Larry and Herman Loon, grandchildren Crystal & Erin Loon, Cheryl and Melody Assin, Albert and Steve and Charlene, Don, children Ginny and Ronald Loon, Verna and Samantha Plamonda, Connie Loon and Marcel Green, grandchildren; Victoria and Nathan Assin, Rene, Tracy, Chris, Vincent, Lyle Loon, Liam Mathew and Nicholas Plamonda and many more, nephews and nieces, Lillian, Joanne, Linda Ackabee, Myra, Linda Necanapenace, Sandra Spears, Anita Loon, Ronda Keesick, Adline Paypom, Susan Landon, Irwin Loon, Joann Assin, and many more cousins Bernard, Louie, Roy Assin, Lawrence, Charlotte, Bradly, Harold, Betty and Sylvester Loon, Louise Barnard, Emelda Coaster, Fred, Jerry and Gorge Land, Archie, Richard, Sally, Racheal Ashopenace and Ivy Keewatin and many more.

Wake Services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Minnowsaywin building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.

Traditional Funeral Services on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at noon at Minnowsaywin building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.
