Elizabeth Kent a resident of Wabaseemoong First Nation passed away on April 21, 2012 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

She was born on July 4, 1936.

Elizabeth will join her only son William (Billy) Kent who predeceased in 1999. She will be sadly missed by Nathan Muckle who she adopted as her own when she lost her son.

Elizabeth was the last surviving sibling of the original Kent family. In the 1980's she gave her life to the Lord. Her favourite past times included making star blankets by hand, blueberry picking and her weekly garage sales as well as being outdoors, along with spending time with her family and friends and she enjoyed attending gospel services and travelling.

Wake Services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2012 starting at 8:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Kent’s house.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow.

The family would like to thank Dr. Pedersen, Dr. Vaudry, nurses on 2nd floor East, Kenora Ambulance, Whitedog nurses Kathleen and Sonia, Wabaseemoong First Response and the Treaty Three Police.
