Billy is survived by his daughter Hollie Kirby Bradley (Justin); and his son William Paul Kirby, III (Anslea); his sisters Sandra Kirby Croft (Todd) and Marie Kirby Williams; his granddaughter Clara Rose Bradley, 7 years old, his grandson Payne Bradley, 4 years old, his granddaughter Paislee Kirby,2 years old and several nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Joan Kirby; his father William Paul Kirby, Sr and his mother Betty Kirby; his sister Kathy Kirby and his brother Luther "Luke" Kirby.
Billy was retired from Georgia Power where he had worked for many years as an Operator. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars, fishing, and time spent with family. But all of the aforementioned were secondary when it came to his grandchildren.
A visitation for Billy will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 11:00 am. Billy will be laid to rest in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Acworth, GA.
