Sue G. Perry

Sue was a traveler. She belonged to various travel clubs and enjoyed traveling across the United States and even internationally. Sue was also a bird watcher, which she was able to do while on her travel adventures. She was very active within her church and helped with church outings whenever she could. Sue never knew a stranger and would start a conversation with anyone. She was a cherished friend to many people. Sue was very dedicated to her family. Sixteen years ago she moved from North Carolina to live with her granddaughter, Wendy. This allowed her to spend time and help with her great-grandchildren. Sue was a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sue G. Perry is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Goins and husband, Truett Miller and her second husband, John L. Perry.

She is survived by daughter, Susan Brookey; granddaughter, Wendy (Robert) Abney; grandson, James (Karen) Moss; step grandson, Carl Perry; brothers, Elliott Goins and Buren Goins; sister, Jane Ratterree and Estelle (Clifton) Summey; great granddaughter, Samantha Abney and great grandson, Stephen Abney.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Sue Perry will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 3pm from the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 1-3pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
