While we may not have known Tio Chameco as closely as others, we knew how the family felt for him and what a beloved brother he was for Mama. A man who worked hard with his hands, building for others, a man of humility and tenderness, fiercely loyal to those he loved. We look forward to the time when we can see him restored to youthful vigor using his strength again and reunited with those loved ones that have passed before him. That will be a time, not of loss, but a time when we gain our loved ones back and live the real life. All those scriptural truths Mama & Papa faithfully shared with him all those years he will get to see with his own eyes. We have this guarantee from Jehovah, it’s as good as done (Rev. 21:4-6).

As we know him, was the only uncle I got to be more connected with. Tio was a very humble, quiet, and soft-spoken man.  He loved his parents (Julia and Fernando)  very much and was always looking after them. As he got older he became very close to mom. One of my favorite things about tio was his genuine concern and his connection with mom. As I recall mama told me of many conversations she had with tio Chameco. Especially how happy she would be when he finally used Jehovahs name. Instead of using  "Dios," he would say  "Jehovah willing."  Or "Que Jehova te bendiga". I recall there was one situation where he was so upset that he remembered to call out to Jehovah in prayer. He was so surprised he told mom, "You are right!! Jehovah heard me. Cause after I prayed to him I was extremely calm. 
 For Jehovah Alone is called almighty, for he has unlimited power. Righteous and true are his ways. And with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26. He promised and has the desire and longing to restore life to people who have died.
 Isaiah 51:11 says "So my Word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results. But it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, and it will have sure success in what I send it to do. So with that in mind tio is only sleeping for a little while and will be awakened again.  In good health. I have faith, and I believe in that promise where we will see all of our dear  loved ones again, papa, mama and many others.

My love and condolences go out to my family during this hard time of loss. The memories we have will live on with us, especially those of the nights he would be on our grandparents' porch in Puerto Rico. Look forward to a future hope where we can see Tio, my grandparents and their other siblings again, happy and healthy.

Though we are sadden by the loss of Tio Chameco, we are comforted in knowing his sleep in death is only a temporary  state. There will come a time,  when we will see him again. Not in a condition at the time of his passing,  but a more youthful  man,  with a desire to keep building houses.

Those pictures are beautiful. You can't get much closer to paradise than PR. Who really wanted to give up that nature to work miserably in the states? They looked very happy. I'm sad they left PR and they left us without telling me all their stories, perspectives and experiences. I wish I could have known them more intimately. Who they were and what it was really like to enjoy that beautiful island. I feel lost because i was disconnected. Now I'm picking up the pieces. Their example of family, faith, and love lives within me. I wont let them down. RIP mama, papa and Tío Chameco.

Tio chameco construyó nuestro bello hogar.

Every time I visited Puerto Rico, Tio Chameco would be the first one to come and see us. He was always smiling and happy. We had good times with him, Mami and Papi. I have memories that I will treasure forever. He was such a humble mild mannered man. I enjoyed the many conversations I had with him about Jehovah, Jesus, the Bible, and our future hope. Right now, the pain is raw, but I know Jehovah will help us cope. Psalm 34:18 - “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I will miss him dearly but I look forward to seeing him and all dear family members we lost in death with the wonderful promise Jehovah gives us of the resurrection in Paradise here on earth. John 5:28,29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”.

Tio Chameco, fuiste un hombre muy querido y trabajador , como sobrina tengo bonitos recuerdos, de cuando visitaba en Puerto Rico, y los paseos de familia con tu hermana, Eliza, y Cuñado Clivo y nosotos los hijos, las visitas Que hicistes aqui en Georgia unos años atras con tu  Hermana Adelina, Que en paz descanse tambien, para encontrate, con Tia Goly y Mami, y compartir momentos unidos de familia.. 
Te voy extraña, pero se Que estas en paz y pronto Dios Jehova te tiene en su memoria, para una resurrecion..,Juan 5;28-29.. Mucho Amor Tio🙏🏼
