Robert Jeffrey Thurman

Mr. Robert Jeffrey Thurman, age 43, of South Glen Falls, NY., formerly of Acworth, GA., passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Jeff was born on August 7, 1974 in Marietta, GA., a son to Bobby Thurman and Angela Gay Shiver.

Jeff spent most all of his life in the North Cobb County area. He worked in the trucking industry most all of his career including, Edward Scott Trucking and recently, Saratoga Department of Transportation. Jeff has a wonderful sense of humor and loved being around family and friends. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan and was a member of Glade Road Baptist Church. The two most important things to Jeff were his faith the The Lord and his precious daughter, Rebekah. Jeff was a wonderful son, father, brother, and friend; he will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Rebekah Bundrum; siblings, David Tanner of Acworth, GA., and Madison Shiver of Oregon; former wife, Edie Thurman; a special family friend, Al Madison; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Jeff Thurman, will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Smith and Pastor Chad Smith officiating.

A visitation with the family will take place from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
