Pam Ellison, 68, of Marietta, died Friday, January 2, 2015. Funeral is 2pm Monday at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Acworth with her lying in state beginning at 1pm.
Pam retired from Cobb County Board of Education after 34 years as a First Grade Teacher and is still beloved by many of her former students whom she still kept in touch with. She was a longtime member of Piney Grove where she played the piano, sang in choir, and work with the blanket ministry. Her faith and unconditional love for others was reflected in the work she did for so many within her church and community, PAM TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES.
She is survived by her husband – Tommy Ellison of Marietta, daughter – Stephanie Waters of White, grandchildren – Blaire Waters and Blaine Waters, and her brother – Dwight Minter of Jasper, TN.
The family will receive friends Sunday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw from 5 – 9pm.
