Mr. Michael James Barnett age 49 of Kennesaw died Monday, September 13, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 11 am Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Cole officiating. Interment at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Barnett was a service Technician for AT&T and a licensed Electrician. A Past Master of the Malta Lodge 641 in Atlanta, he was a member of the Directors Staff at the Yaarab Shrine Temple. He was Treasurer of the Traveling Men. He helped with many fund raisers for the Shrine Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC. He was the assistance coach of the Tractor Girls Softball team at Adams Park in Kennesaw, Georgia. A member of the Northside Park Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Wife Wanda Barnett of Kennesaw, GA; 2 daughters Jamie Barnett and Taylor Barnett both of Kennesaw; Mother Barbara Barnett of Arlington, TX; 3 brothers Lincoln Barnett of Joshua, TX; Bart Barnett of Tioga, TX; and Brad Barnett of Joshua, TX; Sister Cindy Upshaw of Midlothian, TX; many nieces and nephews.
