Mary Frances Moody

Mary Frances Moody, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday March 12th, 2023. She was surrounded by loved ones as she departed this world to begin her eternal rest in Heaven.

Frances was born in Kennesaw Georgia on June 24th, 1937, to Clay and Dolly Cook. She grew up in Kennesaw Georgia and graduated from McEachern high School. Throughout her life, Frances was known for her kind heart, her generous spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her family.

Frances married her beloved husband Billy R. Moody Sr. on January 23rd, 1959. Together, they raised four beautiful children, Debbie, Becky Cindy and Billy, who were the center of Frances's world. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she took great pride in her family.

In her free time, Frances enjoyed her family, church, growing flowers and sewing. She was an avid reader and could often be found with her nose buried in a book. Frances was also a talented cook and loved to prepare meals for her family and friends.

Frances is survived by her four children, Debbie McKee (Kenneth), Becky Pearson (Johnny) Cindy Kinney (Art) and Billy Moody (Jennifer) as well as her 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her Brother Perry Cook (Jean), numerous nieces, nephews.

Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and love will never be forgotten. Funeral service will be held for family and friends, and she will be laid to rest at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
