Mrs. Mary Lou Burke age 86 of Dahlonega died Thursday, January 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday at Branches of Christ Church with Steve Petite officiating.
Born in Fayette, West Virginia. Mrs. Burke was a nurse at Northside Cherokee Hospital. She loved the Sunshine State and visiting Florida. She had a York Terrier name Yittle. She had a great sense of humor and loved chocolate. She was a member of Branches of Christ in Acworth. Preceded in death husband Clarence Gene Burke; son David Burke; daughter Jeannie Clapp; and Brother Gordon Treadway
