Latoya accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. As a young adult, Latoya moved to Woodstock, GA where she raised her sons.
LaToya's greatest love in life was her boys who were her pride and joy and family. She also loved the beach. She was well loved in the community and touched so many hearts, young and old. Her love had no boundaries. She would offer support, encouragement and love. Latoya was a great cook, baker, babysitter and all around good person who selflessly served others. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
On Monday, December 6, 2021 at the age 45, God sent his angel to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia where LaToya was called to rest. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Along with her Dad, LaToya is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Martin, Clara Mott, Effie Williams, Curtis Ervin & Raymond Williams.
LaToya leaves to cherish her memory: two loving sons, C'Angelo and Quamie Dawkins; her mother and stepfather, Juanita and Philip Jackman; one sister, Monique Williams; four aunts, Dorothy Malcom (Andrew), Vivien Thomas, Susie Cross and Peggy Thompson (John); two uncles, Michael Ervin (Sharon) and Cecil Mott; and a host of cousins, friends and loved ones.
