Kirt Grant, age 87, of Acworth GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020. He was born in Rockingham, NC on October 7th, 1932.
Kirt served his country proudly and honorably in the US Navy and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Mr. Grant was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and 5th Year Godd Conduct Award among many others. He retired as a transport driver for Kroger after 25 years. Kirt enjoyed his home and working in his yard. He looked forward to watching North Carolina Tar Heels football with his loyal German Shepard.
Kirt Grant has been reunited with his wife, Dorothy Grant. He is survived by many loving family members and friends.
A visitation for Mr. Grant will be held on Saturday, January 25th. 2020 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service to honor the life of Kirt Grant will be held on Sunday, January 26th, 20202 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Mr. Grant will be buried at Pine Ridge Memorial park, following services.
