Kathleen Violante McIntyre

Kathleen McIntyre (Kathy) age 90, lived in New York from 1968 to December of 2016. Since then she resided in Acworth, Georgia. Kathleen passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Kathleen was born to the late Charles and Josephine McIntyre on February 15, 1931 in Dean Pen, St. Mary. Jamaica West Indies.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Clarice Campbell, her daughter Janet Williams (Sydney), and her daughter Marva Campbell, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

A lady of faith, Kathy accepted the Advent message and became a member of Uniondale SDA in July 2006 and was transferred to the New Jerusalem SDA in October 2010 during the pilgrim Uniondale merger. Her career was spent in nursing at New York Cornell Hospital, where she worked and retired after 30 years of service. She loved life and enjoyed singing, dancing, crossword puzzles, but what brought Kathy the most joy was her family and friends.

Kathy is preceded by the passing of her son Barrington Moore and her daughter Marjorie Ewers. Heaven is waiting on an angel, may her soul rest in eternal peace. She will be missed but not forgotten, she will always be in our hearts.

A visitation for Kathy will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 12:00 pm.
