John Marlin Jestus was born February 22, 1931 in Howard Lake, MN. He left to be with our good Lord Tuesday, March 20, 2018 with his beloved wife by his side. John entered the Air Force at the age of 16 and made an amazing 20 plus year career of it. Traveling all over the world, making life long friends along the way. During and after his retirement from the Air Force, he was heavily involved with Aviation and Defense Contract work. His love for our Great Country was only surpassed by the unconditional love he had for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Noreta Sue of 60 unforgettable years. His two beautiful daughters, Normaleen Luke and husband Wayman Luke, Gail Jestus and wife Susan Parker; granddaughters, Jeneale Mabee, husband Jason and their daughter Natalie, Jillian Prather, husband Adam and their two sons Dakota and Coleton and little girl Cheyenne. John's grandchildren and great grandchildren will be his lasting legacy and were the absolute loves of his life. To his friends, but most importantly his family, John was ALWAYS a constant positive figure. Lending his love, support and advice, even if that said advice was not what you wanted to hear, it was always meant with love. He woke up every morning with the intent of getting something done, and not letting life just pass by while he idly sat watching.
