Jimmy Lloyd Poole

Jimmy Lloyd Poole, age 78 passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Jimmy was born in Marietta, Georgia to Zummer and Aileen Poole. Jimmy was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired Electrician and his hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, or anything where he could be outdoors.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Diane Poole; his daughter Dana Poole Malony (Todd); and his son Travis Poole (Anita); his sister Derendia Dunn; his grandchildren Casey Johnson, Kecia Prather, Shelby Hall, Ben Poole, Hannah Smith, and Cody Ashe and his great grandchildren Grace Johnson, Kaylee Hall, Maliah Prather, Blaine Hall, Lacie Hall, Ezmae Prather, Jordan Hall, and Maklyn Poole. Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother Terry Poole and his parents.

A visitation for Jimmy will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 23, 2022, 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Acworth, GA with Revs. Nathan Smith and Autry Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
