Jill Austin Carmichael, age 86 passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Jill was born in East Kesteven, England. She attended Kennesaw First Baptist Church. Jill was a homemaker who provided a loving home for her family. She loved spending time with family and friends as well as traveling, the beach, hot tea, working crossword puzzles, and reading. Jill's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Jill is survived by her daughter Kristy Hadaway; sister Jennifer Sager; granddaughters Chelsea Palmer (Kendall), and Katelyn Hadaway; her great grandsons Luke Austin and Bennett Chase Palmer. Jill was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Emory Carmichael, son Gary Scott Carmichael, mother Edith Maud Austin, father Edwin Wallace Scott Austin, and brother Edwin Austin.
A visitation for Jill will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jill's memory may be made to Georgia Heart Association, heart.org.
