James “Jamie” Clifford Barger Jr., 51, of Kennesaw Georgia, passed away after a short battle with cancer on December 29th, 2022. Jamie was a dedicated father, loving husband, and supportive son. As an Army Veteran and Star Wars enthusiast, Jamie understood what it meant to be loyal, committed, and faithful. A proud Eagle Scout and enduring outdoor enthusiast, Jamie is remembered best for his careful planning and attention to detail towards both the safety and enjoyment of his family’s lives. Jamie is survived by his wife, Cheri Barger, son, Caden Barger, and daughter, Shelby Johnson. He is further survived by his father, Cliff Barger, mother, Sherry Barger, brother, Jeff Barger, and sister-in-law, Wendy Barger.
Visitation services will be held Thursday, January 5th from 4:00-8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Funeral Home, in Kennesaw GA. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6th at 2:00 pm at Northstar Church, in Kennesaw GA. In lieu of flowers, the Barger family has asked that donations be made to the “Helping One Guy” charity fundraising organization, " which can be found linked below."
