Dorothy Geraldine (Murphy) Beatty, age 95, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Dorothy was born December 8, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Marjorie Murphy and Joseph Murphy. Dorothy loved knitting, reading and spending time with her family, friends and pets.

Dorothy is survived by her son Gregory Beatty (Cindy) of Dallas, Georgia; and her son Richard Beatty (Arlene) of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada; her sister Gwendolyn Dekat of Huntsville, Ontario, Canada; her grandchildren Christine Voykin, Heather Fleury, Matthew Beatty, Timothy Cain, Robert Cain and her eight great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lloyd Beatty; her daughter Mary Helen Cain and her daughter-in-law Barbara Beatty; father Joseph Murphy and her mother Marjorie Murphy; her brother Lewelyn Murphy and her sister Mary Morgan.
