Donald Andrew Moore

Donald was married to the love of his life, Carol, for sixty-seven years before his passing. He was a devoted husband and a father, grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed coaching little league and was also an assistant boy scout leader. Donald worked for Lockheed for thirty-five years and Boeing for fifteen years before retiring when he was seventy-eight years old. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and was a Georgia Tech fan. Donald also was very strong in his faith with God and this was shown in all aspects of his life.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Donald is survived by his wife, Carol Moore; sons, Richard (Lori) Moore, Stephen Moore and Kyle Moore; grandchildren, Brandy Marchant, Leigha Dickerson, Ashley Pittman, Thomas Moore, and Carolann Margeson; and great grandchild, Charlotte Dickerson.

A joined funeral service for Mrs. Charlene Gilbert and Mr. Donald Moore will be held together on October 12, 2019 at 2:00pm. The families will receive friends for visitation on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. These services will take place at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
