Debra Adams

Debra Lynn Adams (Debbie) was born December 20, 1960 to Wesley E. Walker and Carolyn Armstrong Walker in a small hospital in Vernal, Utah. Debra passed away at 60 years old on September 11, 2021 from complications from Covid. Deb was a warrior. She fought to stay with us for close to six weeks after contracting Covid. Debbie had been living in Acworth, Georgia prior to her illness.

Debbie was born a beautiful child who grew into a beautiful woman. A creative woman, who was a hair artist. Many people whose hair Debbie had worked with never wanted anyone else to do their hair, including her mother. Debra worked at or owned several salons through the years. From Corpus Christi, Texas to Cameron, Texas to Kennesaw, Georgia and surrounding area. Her last job was as a stylist and manager for Great Clips in Kennesaw, where she was loved by staff and customers.

Debbie was a Mama bear. Fiercely protective of those she loved. Whether the relationship was by blood or by choice. Debbie was an amazing mother. She would take on the world for her five children or her grandchildren.

Debbie loved purple. Whether it was hair, clothes, bedrooms or motorcycles. Debbie was happy on a motorcycle, at the race track, in nature, or dressed up and elegant.

Debbie was kind . Debbie was sweet. She would give graciously to others. Debbie was fun. Her beautiful smile and contagious laughter will be greatly missed.

Debbie is survived by her children, Jacob Marohl (Crystal), Michelle Cronic (Christopher), Matt Marohl, Nichole Smith, David Adams (Haleigh), 16 grandchildren, her mother Carolyn Atwood and sister Rebecca Walker. she is predeceased by her grandparents, J.R. and Velma Armstrong.

Several friends and family members will be sporting purple hair or beards as a tribute to Debbie, her love of purple and her fun loving side. Purple hair is not a requirement but we invite all who would like to to join us in this tribute.
