David ‘Bubba’ Dwight Dobbins, age 65, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away at his home on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was born on November 16, 1954 in Marietta, GA, to his late parents; Herbert and Elizabeth Scroggs Dobbins. Mr. Dobbins worked as a Supervisor for Kemira Chemical Company. Bubba loved cars, the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. Bubba was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Adam Dobbins.
Mr. Dobbins is survived by his daughter, Katie and her husband Brandon Bressner of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Junior Dobbins of GA, Michael and his wife Peggy Dobbins of SC; sister; Patricia and her husband Jim Hamilton of Douglasville, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and special friends.
A Celebration of Life for David will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Children’s Cancer Research Association.
