Danielle LeMintz Thomas

Danielle LeMintz Thomas, 21, of Acworth, died Saturday, June 25, 2016. A service to celebrate Danielle’s life will be held Tuesday, June 28, 3pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Danielle to the Cherokee Humane Society, 5900 Bells Ferry Rd, Acworth, GA 30102 or cchumanesociety.org.

Danielle was in her Senior Year at Kennesaw State University Nursing Program and worked as an External at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. An animal lover, Danielle worked for some time at Ruff House in Milton. She loved all animals but dogs were her favorite, especially her dog – Georgia. Danielle loved helping people and her choice of a career in Nursing reflected her love and compassion for others. Ms. Thomas loved her family and spent as much time as possible with her Dad & Mom.

Danielle is survived by her parents – Dan and Donna Thomas, brother – Josh and his wife Shannon Thomas, maternal grandparents – Shirley and Capus Hansard, paternal grandmother – Theresa Thomas, Uncles – Lee Hansard, Gary Thomas, and Mark and his wife Charlene Thomas, Aunts – Deana Hansard, Lisa Hansard, Kathy Crowe, Shirley and her husband Alan Travillian, and Jeanne and her husband Rick Crumbley, nieces – Savannah and Ansley Thomas, cousins – Dwight Hansard, Tripp Lancey, and Glenn Lancey. There are also numerous other cousins and extended family which survived.

The family is receiving friends on Monday, June 27, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm and again on Tuesday beginning at 2pm at the funeral home.
