Mr. Cecil “Pat” Patrick, age 71, of Waleska, passed away December 28, 2014. He was born in Beckley, WV and moved to Flat Rock, MI where he graduated from Flat Rock High School. He attended Eastern Michigan University and Cleary Business College.
Pat was founder and owner of Kennesaw Transportation since 1981. He was a member of Woodstock Rotary, member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Woodstock; on the Board of Georgia Motor Transportation Association, on the Board of Truckstop Ministries and Truckload Carriers Association.
Mr. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Edward Patrick and mother, Mary Vashti Clark; brother, Kenneth Patrick; half-brothers, Johnny Patrick, Lonnie Patrick; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Gail Patrick.
Survived by his wife, Linda G. Beasley Patrick; son, Charles Wayne and his wife, Theresa Annie Patrick; daughter, Kelly Lynn Patrick; adopted daughter, Lisa Mae Eads; brothers, David Patrick, Jerry Patrick; sister, Belinda Patrick; grandchildren, Maygen Vashti Patrick, Ashley Rose Cornett, Christian Wayne Patrick, Cecil Walker Patrick, Charles Wade Patrick; adopted grandchildren, Allisa Ann Conti, Gianna Marie Conti, Kirsten Evelyn Conti, and Carmen Conti, III; nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 3 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Woodstock, 11905 Hwy 92, Woodstock, GA 30188, with remains placed instate at 10 AM. Dr. Johnny Hunt and Rev. Marty Benton officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 4 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
