Barbara Faye Pelfrey

Barbara was a long time resident of Kennesaw where she was born and raised. She was an active member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church and was very dedicated to her faith. Barbara will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Barbara Pelfrey has been reunited with her husband, Charles Pelfrey. She is survived by her son, Edwin “Eddie” Daniell and his wife Pam, Allen Wehunt and his wife Kelli Young; daughters, Debra “Debbie” Fuller and her husband Ron, Delta Hammond and her husband Herbert, and Linda Wehunt Leonard; grandchildren, Mandy Birdsong and her husband Tommy, Tracy Daniell, Kimberly Mauldin and her husband Dale; Aaron, Matt and John Wehunt and Melissa Wehunt Wayman; Jason and Jeremy Leonard; great grandchildren, Grayson Westbrook, Locklyn Birdsong; soon-to-be great granddaughter Violet Annalise Birdsong, Christopher and Trey Mauldin, Paul Daniell, Delta Dawn Stine and her husband Kris Stine; great-great grandchildren Jordan Hunter, Jonathon Crocker, Keith Crocker; great granddaughter Taylor Stine, and five additional children; and great-great-great grandson, Isaac Stine, plus two additional children; and fur babies, Rosco Pelfrey and Sebastian Pelfrey.

A memorial service to honor the life of Barbara will be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2018 with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM and service to follow at 3:00 pm at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 2385 Acworth Due West Road, Acworth, Ga., 30101. Reverend Bobby Therrell will be officiating the service.
