Ann Hendrix Kennedy, 93, of Acworth, Georgia passed away December 13, 2022 at Kennesaw Mountain Tranquility Hospice following a long illness.
Ann was born in Brooklet, Georgia on September 21, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Hendrix and Marie Burch Hendrix. She received her teaching degree from Georgia Southern where she met her husband, Harold Kennedy. Ann was a longtime member of the Acworth United Methodist Church. Ann retired, after more than thirty years of teaching school, mostly at Acworth Elementary. Ann was a devoted mother and teacher and she especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her daughters Kim Brandon of Monroe Georgia, Karyl Kennedy of Marietta Georgia, son Hal Kennedy of Brooklet, Georgia and grandchildren Joshua and Lee Brandon. She is preceded in death by her son Mac Kennedy, late husband Harold Kennedy and her son in law David Brandon.
