Ronnie was born April 6, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Edward and Valrie Finch. He graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth in 1965. He attended Tarrant County Junior College and the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a Journeyman Electrician’s License.
Ronnie worked for General Service Administration for 34 years as a Project Manager.
Ronnie was a life time member of the Cedar Creek Lake Mason Lodge #1431, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2001-2002. He was a member of the Sharon Shrine. He also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where he served as Worthy Patron.
Ronnie was a member of the Texas Professional Photographer’s Association and the Southwestern Photographer’s Association, Inc. He received several awards for his photographs from the Affiliated Print Exhibit.
Ronnie was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church in Tool, Texas. He served faithfully in several leadership positions, passionately working around the church facilities and in whatever capacity he was needed.
Ronnie was preceded in death by both his parents and a daughter, Misty Lynn Finch.
Survivors include his wife, Talonda Finch of Kemp; son, Brian Finch and wife Alyssa of Crowley; daughter, Cheryl Trapp and husband, Doug of Crowley; son, Randy Finch and wife, Christine of Fort Worth; daughter, Michelle Hines and husband, Gerald of Arlington, Texas; son, Kirk Sandlin of Kemp; brothers, Nathan Finch and wife, Mava, of Hurst and Donnie Finch and wife, Linda, of Euless; sisters, Cleta Kemp and husband, Billy, of Keller and Mirion Simmons and husband, Gene, of Azle; Uncle Douglas Finch and wife, Bonnie, of Weatherford, Texas; 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson.
