William James Norman

NORMAN, William (Bill) James passed away on June 25, 2015 at home in Kelowna, BC at the age of 47 years. Bill is survived by his mom and step-dad Doris and Dan MacNaughton, sister Angela Weiss and Frank Elson, brother George MacNaughton and Brandy Ann Smith; nieces Cheyenne MacNaughton and Sierra MacNaughton, Uncle Archie Carlson and Elaine, Uncle Milton and Mary Carlson and numerous cousins. Bill was predeceased by Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, Uncle Bryan Carlson (May 2006) and Uncle George Carlson (April 2015). Bill was a great outdoors man, one with nature. He had a love for all cats. He was a collector, music lover, an explorer who loved adventures. He was a quiet man who listened, he was simple, charming, honest, compassionate, stubborn, gentle, sincere and loved. Bill was a sportsman in school, he competed in track and field and was a football star. Bill was a dreamer with many ideas. When Bill passed he was packed to take a camping trip of a lifetime. So we believe he is on that journey and one with earth, and at the same time here with us. Bill: a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend who will be truly missed.
