Thomas “Tommy” Ernest Warren, resident of Penticton, formerly of Vancouver, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 14th, 2020 at the age of 84. Tommy was born and raised in Vancouver the 4th child of Mina and Gordon. Tommy was a passionate union representative who was very engaged in labour rights, gender equality, and other social causes. Tommy loved the outdoors out camping and fishing with his children, golfing with friends, and growing tomatoes in his greenhouse. In his retirement, he travelled and was often on the golf course with his ‘Misfits’. Tommy was known for his quick wit and infectious smile. He will be lovingly remembered by his long-time partner (Beverly), children (Michael, Lee, Lorinda, Laresa, Sandra), grandchildren (Shane, Justin, Kayla, Raven, Corbin, Jade), great-grandchildren, siblings (Douglas, Betty, Shirley), nieces, nephews, and more. Tommy was also loved by many outside his family having numerous long-lived friendships and will be sadly missed. The celebration of life will be held in the lower mainland in the summer.
