Mom grew up on the Lemcke Family Farm in Wolseley Saskatchewan.
She married Royce Davis on June 18, 1955, their daughter Karen was born July 30, 1956, son Ward followed March 10, 1958.
Mom Enjoyed coaching the Wolseley Figure Skating Club for many Years.
Thelma and Royce moved the family to Kelowna in September 1969.
Thelma first worked as a Cashier at Stedmans in Plaza 33 and then spent 25 years at Cooper’s in Plaza 33.
After joining the Seventh Day Adventist Church mom ran the Community Services for the church for 25 years. She worked tirelessly to support people in need in this community and other communities around the province.
She will be missed by her Texas Family, 4 Grand children, Kira, Christopher ( Tiffany), Timothy ( Julia), Brian (Rita), 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.
Also missed by her Kelowna Family, 3 Grand Daughters Rachel (Tim), Julie (Jon), Karley (Eric) and 4 Great Grand children.
Funeral Services will be Held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church 130 Gertsmar Road Kelowna at 2:00 pm On Sunday October 20.
Mom loved the color Purple so feel free to wear purple on Sunday.
