JOHNSON: Norman Julius . It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norm. Born on September 9th, 1924, passed away January 18th, 2011. Norm is survived by Nola, his wife of almost 65 years; two daughters Norma Johnson and Shirley (Jim) Spurway and grandson Jeremy, two sisters Kay Arb of Penhold, Alberta, Phyllis McCullough of Androsson, Alberta; three brothers Bill and Jim of Edmonton and Malcolm of Calgary and their spouses, sister-in-law Ina Kilgour of Red Deer and numerous nieces and nephews. Norm worked for the CPR and Electric Light Dept in Red Deer, he moved to Kelowna in 1965 and worked for BC Hydro, Crown Zellerbach and Pre Flight Security at the airport before retiring. He enjoyed writing poems, fishing, hunting and gold panning. he also enjoyed playing bingo with his Three Links family. Many thanks to the nurses and staff of Three Links Manor and Dr. Whiting for their excellent loving care the past three years. No Service by request. Cremation.
