Lois Elizabeth Carson

In loving memory of Elizabeth Carson who passed at the age of 99 in Kelowna General Hospital on February 8, 2022.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Francis (Tage) Woods in 1956 And Willis Carson in 2011 as well as her sisters Dorothy, Mildred, Muriel and Frieda and her brother Carson.

She is survived by her son Glenn, daughter Bonnie (Mike), granddaughters Tania and Nicole, sister Lois and a plethora of nieces and nephews in Ontario.

Elizabeth was born in Russell, Ontario and lived in the Metcalfe area for most of her life until 1975 when the family moved to the White Rock area of BC, and then Willis’ career took them back to Perth Ontario in 1983 until he retired and they returned to White Rock. They spent many happy years travelling in their RV before Willis passed at the age of 73. In 2016 Elizabeth moved to Kelowna to be close to Glenn and Bonnie and lived in Sandalwood Retirement Resort until her passing.

Elizabeth was an animal lover and always had her cats as companions. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Donations - Critteraid Animal Sanctuary.

There will be a service at Valleyview in Rutland on Friday, February 18th at 3:30 and a graveside service on Tuesday February 22nd at 12pm at Victory Memorial Gardens in Surrey where she will be reunited with her beloved husband Willis.
